Snowstorm is the twelfth and final episode of Season 1.
Plot
Christmas is fast approaching and the engines on Thomas' Branch Line are busy with passengers and goods. The trucks however are up to their usual tricks, and Percy's train of tankers cause him to derail. Thomas brings the Breakdown Train and is angry at the trucks for misbehaving in such a crucial time. At the sheds, they are talking about fixing the trucks' behaviour, when Thomas' driver leaves with his Santa Claus costume and the engines make a plan.
Daisy takes Toby's trucks to Elsbridge, where John, the stationmaster's son, asks Daisy about the engines' Christmas traditions. She explains that St. Stevenson comes to reward good engines and rolling stock, and punish the naughty ones. He announces his arrival with the ringing of bells. The trucks hear this and when Toby arrives, ringing his bell, they get a fright promise to be good, for at least 24 hours.
Later on, Toby takes some trucks down the main line, as a snowstorm starts to brew. A snowdrift at Henry's Tunnel causes blockage on the main line. Toby meets Thomas and Percy, who form a train to help take down snowdrifts. They remove the snowdrift at Henry's Tunnel and Daisy joins to get to Knapford station. The four engines arrive at Knapford where The Fat Controller, Donald, Douglas, Henry and Alfred are waiting. The Fat Controller, congratulates the branch line engines and tells them they're really useful.
